My buddy, Rob, and I fished the McKinney Bass Club tournament this past Sunday, February 24th, on Squaw Creek Reservoir in Glen Rose, Texas. The fishing was phenominal and the lake was great that day. We had a five fish limit by 10 am and culled our way up from there.
By the time weigh in arrived we had managed to put together a solid 14.56 lb bag. We were leading most of the weigh in, but fell just shy of first place by 0.06 ounces. Congratulations to John Sours and Javis De Meulenaere who won with 14.62 lbs. It was too close to call! Third place went to Cliff Waldrop and John Blane with 13.33 lbs and fourth place to Skip and Paul Winans with 13.28 lbs. Overall big bass weighing in at 4.39 lbs. was caught by Roger Davis.
