Our annual trip to Lake Conroe for the Big Bass Tour March 1-3, 2019 was a blast. The weather may have been freezing most of the time, and the wind may have turned the lake into a giant washing machine, but by golly we survived and even weighed a fish. My buddy, Rob, and I fished the McKinney Bass Club tournament this past Sunday, February 24th, on Squaw Creek Reservoir in Glen Rose, Texas. The fishing was phenominal and the lake was great that day. We had a five fish limit by 10 am and culled our way up from there. By the time weigh in arrived we had managed to put together a solid 14.56 lb bag. We were leading most of the weigh in, but fell just shy of first place by 0.06 ounces.
